Kid2 and I went to run errands today and shop before I leave once again leave for Seattle on Tuesday. The past few days, he has been saying some hilarious things, per usual, which I wanted to blog about. An example of this came from yesterday when I apologized to him for being so busy lately and not having much mom and kid time. His response was priceless, “It’s okay mom. There is a 42% chance you will be bring me a game home from PAX. It’s all good.” However I have been just so darn busy, I have had no time. However something he said while we were out running around made me want to take the 5 minutes to write this out so there is a permanent record.
We were waiting at the bus stop for the bus home. He looks at me and said the following:
“You know what my first memory is mom? My first memory is from when I was 3. I had woken up from a dream, and I still remember this dream to. You came into my room. You were wearing a beautiful red cotton shirt. You leaned over the bed and said, “Happy Birthday. Today you are 3!” You gave me a kiss then you picked me up and carried me into the living room. That is my first memory.”
I melted.
I tweet about my kids quite often because they just rock. Someone said to me yesterday, “Don’t ever stop talking about your kids. They are great.”
My response, “My kids are my life. As long as there is breath in my body, I will talk about my kids.”
